Bio
Rosemarie discovered her passion for finance law from the onset of her career. Clients enjoy working with her because of her sharp focus, responsive nature and strong negotiating skills. She loves a challenge, and truly enjoys finding the way around complex structures.
Her work is focused on local and cross border, bilateral and syndicated loans. She has specialized over the years in commercial real estate, financing to municipal and state governments, construction loans and general corporate financing. She is sought after by companies that act as borrowers or guarantors in the lending market, as well as by financial entities of different profiles, including banks and financial institutions.
She is originally from Costa Rica but feels completely at home in Mexico.
Rosemarie is a Fulbright Scholar and a Northwestern University Fellow. She has a Master’s degree with honors in Law from Northwestern Pritzker University School of Law (2008), a law degree from the Universidad de Costa Rica (2003) and a law degree granted by the Secretaría de Educación Pública (Ministry of Public Education) in Mexico, through a validation of degree by CENEVAL examinations (2008).
Rosemarie is an engaging public speaker. During her school years, she dedicated a fair amount of time to moot courts. She participated in the international rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C. in 1998 and 1999, and later helped coaching teams for this prestigious competition.
