With more than 25 years’ experience, Eugenio heads Galicia’s restructuring and insolvency practice, spanning different sectors and industries.
For their inherent complexity, insolvency cases require a combination of transactional, regulatory and litigation skills. Eugenio offers clients expert advice and seamless coordination of the different practice areas of the Firm that get involved in highly complex restructuring and insolvency matters.
He has published several papers on the subject and lectured on the graduate program on corporate law at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. His research spans from general insolvency treatises, to analysis on the treatment of derivative transactions in bankruptcy.
Eugenio is well regarded by clients for his outstanding service and his pragmatic approach to problem solving.
He obtained his law degree from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico and a Master’s in Business Administration from Boston University.
Eugenio is member of the Galicia’s Innovation and Technology Committee.
