Melissa joined Galicia Abogados in 2019 as a legal intern and currently she is an associate in the Capital Markets practice area.
She holds a law degree from the Universidad Panamericana, from which she graduated with honors, by the dissertation of the thesis entitled “The Crossroads of Human Rights in Modernity: A stance between Relativism and Classical Legal Realism”.
Her work currently specializes in domestic and international debt and equity offerings.
In the academic field, Melissa is an adjunct professor of Constitutional Theory, Justice and Human Rights and Legal Argumentation at Universidad Panamericana.
Before joining the firm, Melissa worked in the Fourth District Court in Administrative Matters as oficial administrative, in the Secretariado Ejecutivo del Sistema Nacional de Seguridad Pública in the area of crime prevention research and in Malpica, Iturbe, Buj y Paredes as civil and administrative litigation legal intern.
