Bio
Luis joined Galicia Abogados in 2021 as an associate in the Real Estate area. His professional practice has focused mainly on the development of real estate projects of different natures (hotels, industrial parks, condominiums, among others), as well as the structure of the guarantee packages for each transaction. In his practice, he has also focused on the analysis of the financing to carry out the different projects and restructurings of real estate portfolios and Real Estate Investment Trusts.
He worked from 2014 to 2016 drafting public deeds and other notarial documents at Public Notary 110 of Mexico City, where he focused his practice mainly on real estate asset sales transactions. Luis joined Creel Abogados, S.C. as a lawyer, where he worked from 2017 to 2019, focusing his practice on different financing projects. Moreover, Luis joined Ramírez, Gutiérrez-Azpe, Rodríguez-Rivero y Hurtado, S.C. as an associate, where he worked in the firm’s Real Estate and Finance team from 2020 to 2021.
He studied Law at the Universidad Panamericana (2013-2018) and completed a specialization in Commercial Law at the same institution.
His native language is Spanish and he is fluent in English.
