Bio
Juan Carlos has several years of experience drafting contracts and handling legal disputes before Mexican courts at the state and federal level, in different types of proceedings, particularly in administrative, civil and commercial disputes.
He has been involved in commercial arbitrations in their different phases, including the analysis and development of strategies, preparation of arbitration claims, preparation of evidence and homologation of arbitral awards.
He has also participated in anti-corruption / compliance investigations and in the elaboration of legal opinions, compliance programs and policies for national and international companies belonging to different industry sectors in Mexico.
He has represented national and international clients in conciliatory / mediation proceedings before national governmental authorities in the banking and financial sector.
Juan Carlos graduated from Universidad Panamericana. He is currently in the process of obtaining his degree in Notarial Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. He is a member of the International Chamber of Commerce Mexico, and he was a professor at Universidad Anáhuac (2019-2020).
