Josafath has been an associate at Galicia Abogados since 2022 and is currently part of the Restructuring & Insolvency area, particularly focused on the subnational sector practice.

He is a lawyer graduated from the Facultad Libre de Derecho de Monterrey (2019), graduating with honors with a professional dissertation on cryptocurrency and the financial technology regulation in Mexico. During his undergraduate degree, he studied various courses on history and public policy at the Centro de Estudios Internacionales del Colegio de México (2017), as well as participating in a stay at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London, studying international trade law (2018).

Josafath also obtained a certification on public finance and public sector economics from the ITESM Escuela de Gobierno y Transformación Pública (2021).
