Bio
Gabriela has a Law Degree from the Universidad Panamericana of Mexico City. She joined Galicia Abogados in the year 2019, as Associate of the Environmental Area, and her work mainly focuses on the integral consulting for the development of sustainable projects in Mexico, the financing of projects related to infrastructure, renewable and conventional energy, mining, and highways, as well as for the various industrial sectors, regarding environmental aspects applicable to the life cycle of projects and industrial plants.
Before joining our Firm, Gabriela worked in Notary 183 and 81 of Mexico City; the Federal Attorney’s Office of Environmental Protection in the General Directorate of Administrative Procedures and Consultations, where she dedicated to the analysis of revision appeals, and the emission of Resolutions on matters regarding the Federal Maritime Terrestrial Zone, Forestry, Environmental Impact, Wildlife, and Marine Resources, as well as in the Firm Celis Aguilar Álvarez, Guzmán Sarti y Asociados, focusing, mainly, on Environmental Consulting and Administrative Litigation.
Gabriela obtained a diploma from New York University (NYU) for completing the program “Essentials of US International Tax Law”, as well as the “Seminar on Matters of International Taxation”, from the Master in Fiscal Law of the Universidad Panamericana.
Additionally, she participated in the Seminar “Environmental Liability Insurance”, imparted by Liberty Mutual, TBS, Aspen, Celis Aguilar Álvarez, Guzmán Sarti y Asociados, and DacBeachcroft, as well as the Seminar “Environmental Taxes in Mexico, IIJ-INCAM” at the Institute of Judicial Research of the UNAM.
