Bio
Gabriel joined of Galicia Abogados in 2012 as an associate in the area of Administrative and Constitutional Litigation. His work focuses mainly on the defense of our clients’ needs, through the different remedies available under Mexican law, against legislative, administrative or judicial acts issued by any authority. The industries and/or sectors in which he is specialized as a litigator are, among others: telecommunications and broadcasting, antitrust, energy, data protection, ICT, environment, urban development, financial law.
Before working at Galicia Abogados, he collaborated as a litigator at Chevez, Ruiz, Zamarripa y Cía (2008 to 2011) and previously completed an internship in the then Federal Tax Court, today the Federal Court of Administrative Justice.
He has a law degree from Universidad La Salle (Mexico City, Mexico, 2006); completed a Specialization in Business Law at the same university (2007, Honorable Mention) and has a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Law, Data Protection, Audiovisual and Society of Information from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Madrid, Spain, 2019).
Gabriel collaborated in Ecija, a reference firm in Spain in TMT (2019-2020), where he developed experience in implementation processes, adequacy and consulting on personal data protection, as well as information security management systems.
