Fernando joined Galicia Abogados in 2017 as an associate in the Tax Litigation practice. His work is focused on advising taxpayers during audits by tax authorities, federal and / or local, on filing alternative means of dispute resolution in tax matters, such as conclusive agreements and complaints before PRODECON, as well as on filing means of defense.

As part of his professional experience, Fernando worked in Melgar, Ortiz, Araiza, Montes de Oca y Reyes Abogados, S.C. (2004-2008), in Ortiz, Sainz y Erreguerena, S.C. (2008-2009), in the General Administration of Large Taxpayers of the Tax Administration Service (2009-2010), in Ortiz, Sosa, Ysusi y Cía, S.C. (2010-2014), in KPMG Cárdenas Dosal, S.C. (2014-2016) and in Ortiz Sosa Y Asociados, S.C. (2016-2017).

Fernando studied law at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Mexico City (2002-2006) and has a specialty in Tax Law from the Escuela Libre de Derecho (2007-2008) and a Master’s Degree in Fiscal Law from the Universidad Panamericana (2012-2013).
