Ana Luisa Ibáñez joined Galicia Abogados in 2015 as an associate in the Intellectual Property practice area. Her work is focused on the advisory in the transfer of Intellectual Property portfolios and Intellectual Property related contracts within the context of M&A projects related to different business and industries, and also in the in the drafting and implementation of internal policies, privacy notices and specific legal concerns on data privacy protection for multinational companies and financial institutions. Her practice also includes legal advisory for the protection of distinctive designs, copyrights and photographic image. Ana Luisa worked from 2008 to 2015 in Goodrich, Riquelme y Asociados as an associate in the Intellectual Property practice area. She is a member of the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI) and she is an active member in the Trademark Committee and in the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of such association. Ana Luisa studied law at Universidad del Valle de México (2011) and she is currently studying a master’s degree in Industrial Property, Copyrights and Emerging Technologies at Universidad Panamericana.
